I try to grow beans in my raised beds here in New York's Hudson Valley, and sometimes it works out. I've had decent luck with Black Turtle, Dragon's Tongue, and Marvel of Venice. Got a handful of Old Homesteads this summer. My dried beans yielded about two cups. Some of the flat beans I pickled with good results. These songs are about beans I've grown and beans I've known. If you like to eat beans or if you simply appreciate their beauty, I hope you identify with this music. Who knows, maybe you are a bean who downloads music from time to time. Thanks.
